Social Action
The Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism challenge us to engage in creation of a better world based on justice, respect, intelligent thought, and balance with our environment. This engagement can take many forms, both in our church community and in the greater community outside the church.
We join with other Unitarian Universalists and other liberal faith communities both locally and nationally to support programs that further justice and peace in our nation and the world.
Our national organization, the Unitarian Universalist Association, leads our congregations in organizing around social justice issues and includes service, education, advocacy, and public witness (the spiritual practice of taking a public position in support of justice). Read more here…
